love x liberate was born out of both a moment and a mission. When the name first appeared, the “x” was a typo. The recovering perfectionist in me chose to keep it as a symbol. It marks the space where love multiplies, where healing and freedom cross paths, and the place where beautiful things happen when we honor our own humanity and the humanity in others.

Founded in New Orleans, love x liberate reimagines what mental health care and community wellness can look like when they’re rooted in empathy, culture, and access.

Our founder, Miles Williams, MSW, spent over a decade in education, witnessing how unhealed trauma shows up in classrooms, homes, and communities.

love x liberate emerged from that understanding that systemic change must begin with healing, and that healing is most powerful when it’s shared.
